HELP : Level Switches Screws

To choose the right level switch screws, you have to check :

I) If your switch is US style (OAK GRIGSBY, CRL, Switchcraft)
- Screw diameter : between 3,30 and 3,40mm.
- Length is : 115,8mm ; 5/8"

II) If your switch is asian
- Diameter is smaller : 3mm metric
- Shorter 6mm.

NB : Length may change. Because, Fender took Pickup screws for the switch mounting screws. Today, screws are shorter.

Then you have to check if you need a flat head or a ovalhead.

- Ovalhead for plastic. For an easy installation on countersunk pickguard. Works also on chinese metal plates.


Look at the holes for countersunk screws in this chinese plate

- Roundhead (flat head base) used on metal (Jazz Bass, Tele for example)
